If you have a coach, I assume your swimming competitively. If your not sure what your coach told you to get you need to ask again before you buy anything. The items you need are specialty items and vary from person to person. The item you are forgetting is most likely goggles. The best way to find out what type (there are 100's) of goggles you like and work for you is to try some different types out, maybe try some of your teammates out. The paddles and fins need to be selected based on your size and ability, otherwise the will not benefit you and could actually cause injuries. The pull buoy is a resistance device and again there are different styles. Best bet is to get more specifics from you coach. Why do I get bloodshot eyes after swimming?
If your coach says to get those supplies then you can most likely get most of them from Wal-Mart or Target for rather cheap prices. You could also try a place like The Sports Authority or Dick's Sporting Goods or maybe a local swim shop for the other hard-to-get stuff.
I'm looking for a SCUBA gear Roller Bag or Roller Hard Case. Any Suggestions?
not sure what you are asking.Where can I get an inexpensive Swim Parka for a 6-8 year old?
There are several sporting goods retailers that would have what you need. But I recommend you look online at some retailers that make swimming gear exclusively, and browse swimming supplies websites which often have clearance sales. You can order those through any swim catalogue or online. I would get a baged set. They usualy come with Paddles, fins, kickboard, and a snorkel. Everything else should be fairly inexpensive! Happy swimming!!Where can you buy speedo swimsuits?
Good idea to have your own gear. That way you know it's been looked after and isn't covered with gunk. You need hand paddles and there are many different kinds. Get a small pair to begin with, as they put a real strain on your shoulders when you first start using them. You can move to webbed paddles later on. Fins should be small as well. The pool buoy is that figure eight shaped thing that you hold between your legs when you are doing arms-only laps. Not sure what the other thing might be if it isn't a kick board. Maybe a pool noodle? some coaches use them instead of kick boards because they don't kink your back quite as much as the kick board. One thing you didn't mention that you should ALWAYS take with you is a bottle of water. You can get really dehydrated swimming. Sounds silly, but you perspire when you're training, even if you can't see the sweat.
You might also want a nose clip, for doing flip turns. Pool goggles are helpful so you don't get red eyes from the chlorine, and a good silicone swim cap is a good investment. They last much longer than the latex caps and are far more comfortable.
Have fun out there!
