Techniques to swim faster underwater?
Solar covers are most widely used temperature raiser used by people with outdoor pools. They're moderately effective (depending on the climate you have the pool in such as geographical location and even something as small as sunlight) and are pretty reliable. The main downfall of these is that they're not predictable and often don't work the same for everyone. Also, solar covers have a tendency to heat the top of your water to extremes while leaving the bottom of the pool freezing cold. These can also be the most time-consuming and difficult solutions as solar covers are large and over time they'll wear away, possibly breaking the bubbles on the cover and creating lots of tiny little clear-blue floating pads (I had this problem with my own cover before getting a new one).Your next possible temperature fix for the pool is a chemical additive. Lots of pool stores will also sell these and they commonly come in a dark liquid inside of a floating device (I've seen it marketed inside of a floating fish to make it look more appealing). These are decently predicable and is easily the cheapest warming method that you have for the pool. The main downfall about this pool is that it is cehmicals; it may require you to wait a day or even a couple of days before it is safe again to swim in the pool. Your skin may also have reactions to the chemicals as well.
Your last option that you have are electric heaters for your pool. These are by far the most reliable energy source but they may also be very expensive depending on your current electricity uses without the attachment of an electric heater to a pool. Also, if something happens that damages the heater you could be in serious trouble! Lots of electric pool heating appliances have safety equipment on them to prevent anyone in the pool from being shocked but they're still not perfect and they probably won't be for a long time.
To sum it all up, you have solar covers, chemicals and electric heaters that you can install in your pool. Depending on your needs and budget for the heating solution you can get what you want. Talk with a person at a pool store and see what they have to say and they'll get you whatever you need.

They have covers that absorb heat from the sun and trap heat inside to reduce heat loss. There are also solar heaters for above ground pools. Here's a link that you can check out to get info on them :

How do GET WATER OUT of your ears???
you can buy black tarps or covers that go over the pool and will keep heat from escaping the pool you just keep on there take it off when you swim put it on when your not you can get the at sports stors like academy or lowes or home depot also if the pool is surrounded by trees or is in shadows try and move it to a sunnier spotDo you know if there is such a thing as built in steps in an above ground swimming pool? I?
Solar covers for above ground pools are cheap and effective for increasing and maintaining temperature. The covers also cut down on evaporation and chemical use. Wind is the biggest factor determining heat loss.More Questions & Answers...
