Want to join local co-ed swim club. But I have a Speedo issue. Please help.?
Question:I am an avid swimmer at home. I want to join a local co-ed swim club which competes with other clubs. Fun! Here is the problem. All the men were competition style bathingsuits, Speedos. I am unfortunately a very well endowed man. When I wear a speedo it is barely contained and with the tight thin fabric you can make out the head and shaft detail at even a minimal glance. Not an issue when I am doing laps in my back yard. Is this a problem when half the team are women?
Ladies if you saw your teammate enter the pool area wearing a speedo that barely contained him and could easily see the exact contours of his memeber what would you do?
I really want to join this team as several of its members are friends and co-workers.
What should I do?

Is it possible to invent new swimming styles by combining the bodies of several swimmers?
I am a lady. I personally look at the size of the speedo package all the time. Just to see who has what. I think that most ladies would like it with a bigger one. But that might just be me. But, if you are not comfortable with it, you could try a few things.Drag suits. Lots of boys wear these and they are mesh and loose (made to add more resistance to you body so that when you swim without it, its somewhat easier) These are baggy and you get can them at lots of sports strores for a relativly cheap price.
Jammers. The alternative to the speedo "brief" style. These are fairly new and lots of boys wear them. They are tight and eveything but they dont stop at the top of the thigh, they go down to the knee. This might contain it.
Some boys wear the Jammers with the Drag suit on top. I personally think that looks a little stupid, but it completly covers that area up.
Swimming on a team is tons of fun and if you join, you will have so much fun during meets (when you cannot wear the dragsuit or jammers <if you team suit is a seedo (lots of teams give the choice to the swimmer of Jammer or speedo)>) you wont even think about it. Or that the nerves take you over, you wont think about it.
Plus try this. think of you co worker female. Then think of her looking at it. Then think of all the possible things she could say in the locker room. They are not so bad in the scheme of life. She might joke about it. Or, better yet, you bring it up and joke about it to break the ice. Maybe not to the ladies, but to the lockeroom men.
Good Luck!
Dear Penthouse.
I'd slip my phone number into your hand before you hand a chance to say "What the hell"
Wake up and stop dreaming.
What is the difference between Alkalinity and PH (pool question)?
consider yourself lucky, and buy the largest speedo you can find. I'm sure you won't be the only one there ummm...well endowed. good luckWhich race did Michael Phelp break in the olympics but did not win?
ew I hate speedos and was disgusted when my older cousin swam in our pool with a speedo. so just wear swim trunks and tell them screw u if they have a problemWould you buy a $70 dollar swimsuit?
actually most competitive swimmers no longer wear speedos. everybody wears jammers which go down to the knees.I'd get rid of the speedo idea, and stick with what some men call a newfound glory- the jammer. The jammer looks like a pair of swim trunks that has been vaccuum sealed to your legs. It gives quite a bit more coverage for your problem than a speedo does. They make jammers for races, and jammers for practices. The Speedo Fastskin or Fastskin 2 is made for races and though it is expensive, I highly reccommend it. Most of the other jammers are your typical practice suit. If you still want to wear a speedo, I suggest wearing what they call a "drag suit" over it. A drag suit is just what its name means- a suit that causes drag. It is more often than not made of mesh, and is considerably baggy. The drag suit is only to be worn at practice. Wear it at a meet and people will laugh at you. It creates drag when you swim so when you swim without it, it is easier to do so. I can give you no other options unfortunately, but I hope I could help.
