i love all three... and i live by all 3 which is great!! i'd have to say ocean, because in the summer, i basically live at the beach!! also, i'm in my pool a lot, but the beach more.

I highly prefer pools because they are safer and not as disgusting as oceans and lakes. I personally never did like swimming in those because there are slimy creatures in them and some of those places even have garbage in them. Ugh! :)

I prefer an ocean, if it's clear, like along the Gulf Coast, otherwise, I'd have to go with a pool. I've GOT to be able to see if any critters are around me. I like the waves of an ocean though!

Limestone Quarries-
I like swimming in an old Limestone quarry; they are cold in early spring but get warm by around mid may/June. Ours has a creek running through on one of its edges also there are springs feeding in to it. The swimming is usually cleaner and clearer than in a lake or ocean. The water even gets to be blue/green because of the limestone. So I would say that it’s like having all three wrapped up into one element to swim in.

We can swim, dive, vine jump, boat, kayak, sunbath, scuba and fish because of its depth and size.

I have to say it is one of the few things I can think of that man has ever made that actually has turned out to be so useful and beautiful long term…

there is nothing like getting ready for a morning 400 yard swim and just as you enter the water see a flock of geese land on the water out about 100 yards from where you stand.

and pools are good for a relaxation were you dont have to worry about anything.
