A possum fell in my pool..please help!?

A begginer diver should not go deeper than 18mts. Everything between 18mts and 40mts is considered deep diving and it needs some extra training and expertice.

A advanced recreational diver can go down 40mts max.

Technical scuba divers con go deeper than 100mts. That is very dangerous and it needs a lot of experience and training. I think that the world record is 130mts or so...

Is Ryland pool closed?

The current world record for scuba diving depth is 313 metres, held by Mark Ellyatt, a British technical diving instructor. He descended to a depth of 313 meters (1,026.9 ft) off the island of Phuket in Thailand.

Otherwise, 40 metres is the deepest a PADI trained recreational diver can go. There's not much to see down there...

What is the easiest and cheapest and subtle way to ruin a pool for the rest of the summer?

I agree with most of what Divehappy has posted, except, that there most certainly IS stuff to look at. I'm a techie wreck head. Most of what I dive IS below PADI recreational depth and there most certainly are better wrecks at those depths that haven't been ruined by recreational divers, and weather. Sea life, that's different, but wrecks...ya gotta see to believe. :)

At what height do skydivers usually dive and for how long are they usually in the air?

This all depends on what agency that the Diver is certified with, and what level of certification they hold. Some agencies recommend that Openwater Diver only go to 80ft, and Advanced Divers can go to 130ft. There are also certifications such as Nitrox and Trimix which are usually considered Technicial level diving. Also you can get into Commercial diving, and with the proper gear and training can go several hundred feet. So it all depends on many variables. :D
