UNDERWATER? Can you hold your breath longer than Patrick Duffy?
rainex it's for windshields on cars. spit only last for so long. this is worth the 10pts trust meThey do make a product for that but I usually just spit on them and smear it around. I know it's kinda gross but it works like a charm. Just spti a little on the inside and smear with your figures all over and no fog until it is washed off with water.
I am 15 and i want to start swimming.is it too late?

your own spit will workWhen I took scuba classes, they told us to spit on them and smear the spit on the inside. It's kinda gross, but it works great!

You can put a small bit of shaving cream on them, coating the lenses, then make sure you wipe them clean. It really works!SPIT!!!

Is it true... the older u grow the tougher it is to learn swimming..?
spit in them or use toothpaste...seriously i learned that in lifeguarding...Most people spit on them but the alternative to that is to put a dab of regular shaving foam, spread it around and cover all of the goggles (both sides) and wipe the shaving foam with a clean rag and keep wiping until it looks clean. That works better than any product you can buy (cheaper, too). IT WORKS! Try the shaving foam on the mirror of your bathroom, too, and see if it fogs up when you're showering!
How come the record at Manhattan Marathon Island Swim is less than 7 hours?
I have been teaching and Scuba diving for over 30 yrs. and used all kinds of things. True, you can use spit but it really doesn't seem to be as effective as defog that is sold in dive shops and some sporting goods stores. Baby shampoo works well too. My favorite is liquid dish soap! I know, it doesn't sound like a good idea but hear me out.Wet your mask or goggles and place one drop for goggles. Masks may need more. Spread the liquid evenly. RINSE WELL (I give my mask a few shakes in the water) to avoid stinging later on. Do not use your fingers to rinse because you will remove the film. Your fingers have oils that will cause your goggles to fog too.
The reason I like dish soap because it is cheap and readily available. Most are biodegradable.
Why it works...after washing, dish soap leaves a 'sheeting film' that prevents dishes from leaving water spots on dishes. It is gone after it evaporates. When you wear a mask or goggles it traps moisture inside so it doesn't evaporate.
You may have to reapply if you remove your mask or goggles for too long or often. Remember to rinse it well. I have used this for hundreds of diving customers with no allergic reaction but if you do get irritation, discontinue.
How do I contact a college swim coach?
I saw some thing on Sport Mart but u can find on all sport stores but I am just using waterUsually at sports stores they have a special type of solution that you spray onto your googles that helps prevent fogging up. I have apair of googles that came with them. So u could also want to look for googles that are sold with that anti-fog solution.
