SCUBA equipment:: What order should I buy?

What would you think the best and most important equipment is to buy after all the basics? BC? Dive computer? First, second stage etc??

Will this swim schedule get me fit?

If you are planning to get your gear bit by bit - I assume that you will be hiring the rest. It will of course depend on how often you dive, but I would look at possibly getting the gear that costs the most to hire. Also remember that things like your regs and tanks will need regular servicing. Just remember that that Scuba diving can be a dangerous sport/hobby so you might want to buy things such as regs - this way you are diving with gear you know and trust.

This all depends on how many dives you plan on doing. You want to have have all of your own gear at some point, but if money doesn't allow then I would have to say go with the computer first. At least that way you have your personal dives stored so you can look back on them and log them as you need to. From there, Your BC because comfort under water is HUGE. And having your own BC that you are comfortable in is going to make your dive awesome. Your regs. are pretty cheap to rent from your local shop, and you can get a really good set used just about any where.
