5:30AM workout?
Question:It's about 9:15 on the west coast. Any suggestion on how i can push myself to wake up tomorrow morning and head to the gym for a long swim? I've had to give up running due to a bad knee and i've decided to try swimming instead for a while. HELP!

Does anyone know how long swim meet finals take?? URGENT?
set an alarm, then as soon as you hear it dont think, "5 more minutes" because you will just fall asleep again. just try and get out of bed, and then go jump in the shower for a minute to wake you up. then you can start getting ready to go to the pool or gym or whatever. sooner or later you will get in the habit of waking up at 5:30 and it will become easier for you. What are the steps to swimming?
Tell someone else that if you don't get up 10 seconds after they wake you up to pour ice on you. Or you can get a really annoying alarm clock and put it in the other side of the room so you have to get up to turn it off.For all you competitive swimmers- Finis Rave Bladeback?
I'm not a morning person but that is the best time to work out. I used to go from 6 -7am. Just set your alarm and force your *** out of bed.Help! I have some questions regarding cross training?
forcing urself out of bed is good if u have the self motivation to. try setting an alarm but putting it out of ur reach from ur bed. when u get up to turn it off turn on a light and head to the bathroom and splash some cold water on ur face. also it may seem hard to get up right now because u r just starting , but try to get to sleep at the same time every night and wake up at the same time. eventually ur body will adjust to the new times and it will seem normal and be easier to get up in the morning.trust me even if you are half asleep when you go...the moment you touch that freezing water you will be up...and the morning practices ussually arn't ball beaters
