I'm scared because three of my enemies are going to be at the tennis tryouts I have coming up, what do i do?
And I'm afraid they're gonna say stuff like I'm good at school, but suck at life or I'm not good at tennis but its really cause I don't really practice tennis as much as they do and when I do tryout, I'll get better eventually but I don't want them saying bad stuff like I know they will.. so what do i do? i don't want my self esteem to be lower than it already is

Play your heart out, and no one can tell you anything. If they say things to you, ignore them, keep your chin up and tell yourself in all likelihood they're jealous of you.And if that doesn't work, you could always egg their homes, or slash their tires. That WILL definitely make you feel better.

The only thing that will count is how well you perform at tennis - not what they say. (in fact, if those in charge hear them saying negative stuff, it will work against them - a great player who is disruptive does not help a team.)
They only have power over you if you give it to them. You are the only person who can influence your tennis playing. Ignore the fools and focus on your tennis, when they figure out that what they say has no effect, they'll move on to torment someone else.

just try to ignore them and whatever they say don't listen it will be the best thing because if you say something back they will probably say something worse.They don't have any control over whether you make the team or not, do they? Focus on impressing the coach, and ignore them. Also, saying that three of your potential team mates are your "enemies" is really not the way to look like a team player in front of your coach. Do your best, focus, and remember that they can't lower your self-esteem unless you let them. (that's why they call it SELF-esteem, hon)

kid, this happened to me also, but it was my friends who did this and still are! if u really like tennis and u're willing to work your butt off trying to get better, then you probably have passion. it sounds like your enemies are just good, but dont have passion. also tennis is about sportsmanship and respect, and if they cant do tht, they shouldnt even be called tennis players. the way i see it, they shouldnt be on the team.if i was your coach, i'd cut them before the first cut just because of their attitude. remember, in tennis its about how much heart you can put in your game and how much sportsmanship you have. so let them be jerks, because they'll never get anywhere with that attitude. especially in tennis
