Do tennis linespeople and umpires play tennis in their free time?

Since these people officiate at tennis tournaments, would the last thing they want to do in their free time is play a game of tennis among friends?

My mom is an umpire for big tournaments in Asia. She even reffed Sharapova vs. Venus.
She plays a lot of tennis in her free time and has been playing for over 40 years.
