Is it necessary to change the tennis racquet string every 1 year??
Question:Hey!
I would like to know if is it true that the string of a tennis racquet suppose to be change every 1 year? If not change, what going to happen?? Plz help?? ;)
Answers:
The reason you want to replace so frequently is because over time strings lose their playing properties. As this happens the ability of the strings to help absorb shock is reduced. When the ball strikes the strings, there is a collision that creates a fair amount of shock. The racquet frame, strings and grip work together to absorb the shock. Newer strings are generally good shock absorbers. As their ability to absorb shock is reduced, more is transmitted to the body. This can cause pain in the elbow (called tennis elbow) and sometimes the wrist or shoulder. Changing strings frequently is an issue of health and is especially important for young players still developing and growing.
It can also be argued that time also decays some of the shock absorbing properties of the strings. Even if a racquet doesn;t have 40 hours of play, if the strings are 9 - 12 months old, it is probably a good idea to restring.
Do you think Federer will lose the no. 1 rank this year?
hi,Yes it is necessary to chage the string of a tennis after a year, because it affect on strokes we hit, simply you have to consume more power on hitting the shots!
I have heard sometimes commentators mention 'dramatic victory'?
it also depends on how often you play.. are you a very active, active, moderate or not so active player?Does marat safin has a baby ?. wahs his gf's name ? N luk at da unofficial site of ...?
yesActually you should get it changed every month. If you play almost every day, it's the way to go. Most people may only get it changed once the string breaks. The strings tention decreases and cracks from every shot made. Finding the right tention for you is the key to controling where you want the ball to go. A lose tention may have more power but also may decrease control over the ball and the string will last longer then a high tention string because it is loose. A high tension string may decrease power but may have more control over the ball; the string may tend to break easier as well.
In a sense, beginners use lose string to get the feel of playing tennis and is much easier to play for them. Pro players and the likes well most likely use higher tension as they know about having control over the ball is what counts.
Does anyone have any advice for a Tennis player?
it all depends on how hard you hit the ball and how often you play tennis. when you see your strings starting to peal or if they are becoming very loss you should change them. other wise i don't think that they would have a reason to be changed. when i began i didn't get mine restrung for a long time and nothing happened.About maria sharapova and anna kournikova?
Yes, you should change them at least every year.Yes, unless you hardly ever play & aren't very serious about the gane you should change the string at least once a year & perhaps more often (depending on how much you play). I get my racquets restrung several times a year. When you leave the string in too long, it loses tension & affects your control (even if the strings aren't broken or worn).
Who in world tennis are regarded as the Woodies?
