Do u think the WTA is bias & involved in match fixing to favor one player against the other ?

Question:I certainly believe so. I watched most of last years matches. I found that Maria Sharapova always gets the easiest draw until her quarter final. That when she starts meeting the real good players & loses. She gets chair umpires that always rules in her favor & let her carry on with her grunting & bag of tricks to win. The last US open, they put most of the good players on one side of the draw, while she got the easy side. The tough side(Serena Williams, Maresmo, Justine, Kim, Dementeava, Petrova,..etc) had to play & eleminate each other. By the time they got to the Semi against Sharapova, they were beat.
Of course the Tennis Organization has interes to make Sharapova go as far as possible in the tour. because she is a money maker to them as fans flok to see her beauty & not tennis.
If anyone disagree with me, i suggest he/she watches closely the draw & Sharapova's matches. Good example: the Indian Wells that is playing right now.

Ivanovic A. vs Golovin T.?

My friends also said the same. Her road is arranged till the semis almost, were the tennis organisation put very weak players to insure her win. I remember her using her bag of tricks when she almost lost against Tatiana Golovin & asked the Umpire that she needed a toielt break in the middle of the tie break points. Recently, against Ana Ivanovici, when she claimed she has a injury because she realized she couldn't win. Also against Iancuvici when she raised her arm, as if not ready to recieve the surve & lied to the Umpire & awarded the crushal point, later to see in the replay that she did raise her arms. She is slick & wants to win by all means & the world to think of her as the greatest player & the greatest beauty.

What is the pink hydration drink Agassi drinks during his matches?

well, I can tell you that her position in a draw is pure luck, the seeds have predetermined positions in the draw, and the rest of the unseeded players are positioned by random draw, either by computer or balls picked from a spun cage/barrel.
As for Sharapova, yes I do think that the WTA is dealing inadequately with Sharapova's cheating. She has now has installed someone else as her official coach, so that her father can coach her from the sidelines .

they are turning a blind eye, because she has one of the biggest profiles in the game, just like Nadal's stalling they let her get away with it because she's high up. fines of $2 000 AUD will not effect her because she gets sooooo much money just from sponsorships. I guess that they don't want to effect the person's life to much, besides which it would be difficult to justify fines much bigger than that, for something which is not a huge offence. I do not believe that she is setting a bad example for children through this. However her screaming should see her defaulted in some touraments, that is blatant cheating! she even screams after she has hit the ball! now that is a bad example to children.

BASELINE RALLY POSITION - - - Where do you stand?

My dear, your question itself shows your interest in the game. For your kind information, Kim Clijsters did not play in US Open 2006 and Amelie Mauresmo and Serena Williams were in the same half of the draw as Maria Sharapova. And Sharapova did beat Mauresmo and Justine to win the title. I too don't like her much, but that doesn't mean that the WTA is favoring her.

Is the Gap between Nadal and Federer widening?

I would like to point out that Sharapova has been ranked in the top4 for quite a while now, and is thus seeded at every tournament she plays to not meet another member of the top4 before the semi's.

I still think that what you say might be true, but I also think that it happens a lot on the ATP aswell, consider Nadal's Wimbledon'06 draw to Federer's. Federer drew players that are known as brilliant grass players (Gasquet, Henman and Ancic), and guys to whom he had lost in the 3 years prior to Wimbledon '06(trust me... there only are about 5 of them- he played against Gasquet &Berdych) All this whilst Nadal was playing guys like Iraki Labadze and Robert Kendricks... I am a huge follower of international tennis, and before these matches against Nadal, I hadn't heard of either.

So yeah it might be hapening on the WTA, but it's definitely happening on the ATP.

Please note: It has come to my attention that whenever goldengal answers a tennis question, she seems to be sharapova-bashing, so I don't take her to seriously and I don't think anybody else should be either. Oh, and its Ivanovic... not whichever way she spelt it.

Did anyone already win all the grand slam titles in the same season?

well, I can tell you that her position in a draw is pure luck, the seeds have predetermined positions in the draw, and the rest of the unseeded players are positioned by random draw, either by computer or balls picked from a spun cage/barrel.
