Which is more of a control racket? Prince 03 White or Babolat Pure Drive Cortex Standard?
I started at 15. I ended up playing doubles in Europe, off and on, for 2 years after I played 4 years at a university. It's definitely possible. From the day I started playing, I may have missed two days in a row, a handful of times in 7 years. I was fanatical about it. 4-6 hours a day on court typically.
The only problem I had with starting out so late is if you do miss any time, your game drops much faster than a person who started at 5, for example.
Even if you don't become pro, playing in college is pretty awesome to say the least. Traveling around to other schools and tournaments is an absolute blast. Can also get some years paid for on a full ride if you're good enough.
Lessons would certainly be recommended. Don't be shy to tell your coach of your aspirations. Having also taught for 16 years, I can tell you that we like to hear from the kids we teach that they want to be great one day. It adds to our enthusiasm for teaching.
Take lessons, go to tennis camps, watch it constantly on tv (when available), and even tape matches and learn what you can by watching. Learning how to play points becomes as important as learning the strokes.

It is never too late...lots of practise and exercise. I am 34. There are so many things that I pursued and gave up on all of them. If tennis is your dream, go for it, and stick to it. Don't give up on your dream. You are so young. Keep pursuing, and God's speed to you. For, I only wish I was your age again.Where is a good place in Singapore to buy a tennis racket?
You won't be a pro at age 17, but at around 18 or 19, if you have a good game strategy. If you keep practicing your shots and conditioning your body, your body will be fit like a pros.No way! you can achieve whatever you want and put your mind to.
