I'm looking for a good racquet? (Read this plz)?
I think I'm qualified to answer this question because I'm a nationally certified Tennis Instructor, and have also been ranked #20 in the USTA's New England section.Even though you say you're able to beat the 60th best player, a college coach won't believe this until he/she sees actual results on paper. So, keep competing for a ranking in the USTA's New England section.
If you're good enough to obtain a great ranking in the 16 year old division, then move up early to the 18 year old division.
If you're good enough to obtain a great ranking in the 18 year old division while you're still only 17 years old, then a college might consider giving you a scholarship.
Unfortunately, this is the only way you have a chance to get a scholarship. College coaches simply won't take your word for it.
Could Sampras beat Paes in a Tennis Match ?
My suggestion would be to contact the coaches at the schools u would like to attend. Some schools like the one I am at don't have enough funding for recruiting but r very interested in gaining tennis players with experience.More Questions & Answers...
