I want to initiate my daughter into tennis in the near future. What are the steps I should take? entry age?
At what age can I start introducing her to the game? How do I know that she will have the required physic for excelling in the game?

Will Roger Federer beat Guillermo Canas this year?
I started when I was nine, and now I play internationally.I am considered to actually have started late... My friends all started when they were about 4... (yeah I know it seems young.)
But, in my opinion, if you start to early all of the information they learn will go right past their heads... I think7 or 8 would be a good age -- it gives them time to get used to the tennis life.
It takes alot of years of practice to develop a foundation for a childs game... After a year or so you want to pay attention to how your child likes it... No child with no will can go anywhere more than a decent college (I don't know what you're shooting for here)
The great thing about tennis is that you don't have to be "great" to play at a competitive level. I think you can only see if she is fit for tennis after some years of development...Just keep her in it for a while,,, a year is the least you can put her in for to just "try it out"
good luck!
Will boring tennis at Wimbledon interfere with World Cup coverage on TV?
depending on where ever u r put her in a tennis academy, because they teach her from basics.if u can afford and as she picks up her skills ,try overseas coaching to make Her a professional.age no bar!!start grooming her urself.Who's Sharapova? Is she a great tennis player or a model?
I would say son't put her into tennis any earlier than ten years old, unless SHE wants to. you should get her some lessons, try to get some of her friends involved, practice with her, encourage her, be positive. Only if SHE IS very committed to tennis and SHE wants to be enrolled in a tennis academy.Did it rain on the first day of wimbledon 2007?
Excuse me but you cant force your daughter into a thing that you like her to do. At first, you'll have to ask her if she has her interest in the game.let her see tennis and let her decide.
if she likes, it is fine otherwise, dont force her in it.
there's no entry age in tennis. As soon as your daughter is ready and has decided to play, she is ready....
