Federer Or Haas ?
Tommy Haas is in marvelous form, you saw how easy he beat his opponent today.. and Federer isn't winning so comfortably, he struggled against Pless, Bracialli and Djokovoic... Do you think is there any chance Haas would beat Federer this time ?

http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...I'm answering after the completion of the match, so I won't make a tip! Federer ended up winning 6-4, 7-5 in a hard fought match. Federer broke in the 3rd game of the first set and held serve to take out the set, although he faced a breakpoint in the subsequent game after his successive break. The second set was much more open on serve. Federer faced three breakpoints in the sixth game, surviving them all and holding serve, and then Haas saved two of his own in the next game. Haas earned another breakpoint at 5-4, a set point as well, but couldn't convert it, hitting the netcord and forcing his ball wide. Federer then went up 0-40 on Haas' serve and took the break, and held the next game to make the final.
I agree with you about Federer's and Haas' form coming into the semi-final match. Federer hadn't played a tournament since the Australian Open and struggled in his 1st round match against Dane Kristian Pless (86), taking it 7-6(2), 3-6, 6-3. He took three sets to overcome seventh seed Novak Djokovic, but I think you would be undervaluing Djokovic to say that Federer had played out of form. As for Haas, he had come off a Memphis win last week, a semi-final appearance at the Australian Open (l. Federer), quarter-final at Delray Beach (l. Vincent Spadea), and two great Davis Cup wins against Croatians Mario Ancic and Ivan Ljubicic. Haas has had a great start to the year and posed a threat to Federer, but we all know about the class of Federer.
Federer will now face Mikhail Youzhny (18) in the Dubai final, who is also in great form this year. Youzhny won Rotterdam last week, made the semi-finals at Zagreb (l. Ljubicic), and the quarter-finals at Doha (l. Ljubicic) and Marseille (l. Baghdatis). You would favour Federer, though, who defeated Youzhny in the 3rd round at this years' Australian Open and has a 8-0 career record against him.

Federer all the way. are you kidding me. roger is just like the best tennis player that evr lived(in my eyes)How do you know what size tennis racquets to buy?
NO CHANCE! I am a huge fan of Pete Sampras, and even I am amazed at Federer's game play. Even on a bad day and he struggles, he would beat everyone out there today.nah, federer steps it up in the finals. most of the time, for fans of the opposing player, we figure that our guy has a chance. but out of the middle of nowhere, federer wins basically all the points.
im a huge roddick fan, and its so frustrating. for the australian open, roddick lost in the quarterfinals to federer. but at the exhibition match in kooyong the previous week, roddick won the final match against federer. my point is that when it really matters, federer just creams all of his opponents, and it sucks haha.
i would be extremely surprised if haas even gets a set on federer. having said that, i hope he does, because i'd love to see the playing field get leveled.
I want anyone who plays Federer to win.
GO HAAS!
I think Haas has a 1% chance of winning the other 99% go towards Roger Federer. He has the most talent, skill, and everything a tennis player needs to win big matches. Haas would have to play that good just to win a set of Federer but, even a match. Federer all the way.
When you belong to a tennis club, do they need to provide notice when changing the monthly rates?
I would love it if Haas won, but we all know whos going to win. No one really stands a chance against FedererHas anyone ever purchased tickets for the US Open Tennis Tournament in Flushing, NY?
I don't think so. Federer still beat all his opponents didn't he?Federer will win. Haas is in great form, but Federer is the best, and we all know that he can step it up a gear when he needs to, remember the Aus Open against Roddick. Moreover Federer really only loses in the early rounds to people he hasn't played before, over the last three years the only person I've seen beat him in finals and semi-finals is Nadal, oh and Safin once. Haas is good, but doesn't even compare to Nadal or Safin. So I say Federer will win. The best player ever!!
What female tennis player won Wimbledon in 1980?
Nope Roger is really good.Do you watch Tennis? I hope you turn it on soon because your missing a man who will be considered the greatest tennis player of all time, and it's not Haas. If you've never seen Federer play, he's the golf equivalent to Tiger Woods. His career speaks for itself.
