You should try Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power (with or without Rough - the textured version). It's the new craze right now and it's being used by a lot of top pros (Federer on his mains, Safin, Hewitt on his mains, Agassi, Dementieva) It's good because it is partially made out of polyester, which is normally very durable. Other polyesters may feel a little boardy, but this string is a bit softer as long as you follow their stringing instructions. (10 lbs. less, I believe) It also has a lot of spin on the ball because the strings practically don't move when you hit with them. This adds to how much you can bite into the ball to produce that spin.Well, hope you have fun.
How fast does the head of a tennis racket travel during a serve?
use 17 gauge kevlar on the mains and any 17 or 16gauge on the crosses wilson or prince synthetic or any brand in between I'm a professional stringer since 1988 good luck p.s the thinner the string the more top spin and power but you sacrifice longevity good luck carlWho is the best mens tennis player in history?
Well, that is kind of a conundrum. You will get more spin with thinner (15 guage strings) but more durability out of 17 guage strings. You have to decide what is more important to your game. It also depends if you have more than 1 racket. If you have multiple rackets, you could get more than 1 type of string. I like to keep one of my rackets with a light guage strings because some days I am hitting balls slightly long with my 16 guage strings. I then switch to the 15's to give me more spin and control. As far as brands go, I prefer Babolat Synthetic Gut.More Questions & Answers...
