If you made a mixed doubles team in tennis who would the members be?

What team would be the perfect match?

Whats the difference different vibration dampeners? Is there one thats better than the others?

Probably John McEnroe and Martina Navratilova. Both are perhaps the greatest doubles players in the history of their gender. They both have powerful serve and volley games which are perfect for doubles. They have ideal returns for doubles play. They also have awesome doubles records.

Incredibly both won doubles tournaments last year! John won a men's doubles tournament last year at the age of I believe 47 and Martina won the U.S. Open Mixed Doubles title last last a the age of I believe 50 years old.

The other choice may be Margaret Court and Roy Emerson. Any of these players in combination wouldn't be bad.

Raquet Help?

Well, there would be no question but that Margaret Smith-Court would be the very first player chosen ... in any generation!
She won 64 majors - far out and in front of any other male/female player in history:
19 of those were mixed doubles and she won them with various partners.
Hers was a serve and volley game - absolutely perfect for doubles play, and she had power, fitness and finesse.

The Q would really be the male partner.

Another great player who won the most men's majors [inclusive of doubles] was Roy Emerson.
He would probably be the most exciting player I have seen - again, a superb serve and volleyer who also just loved doubles play.
I think seeing they were both of the same general generation, I would be very tempted to play them together.
If I wasn't choosing Emerson to partner Margaret, I would probably select either Rod Laver [the only person ever to win 2 'Full Grand Slams - all 4 majors" in any one calendar year], or John Newcombe - another classic serve and volleyer and super doubles player. Both of them were also around Margaret's general generation, and no doubt, played with her at some stage or another.

They would be my picks without checking the records.

Now, having checked the records, in fact, I see that Margaret did win 2 majors with John Newcombe in the mid-60's, but she actually won 10 grand slam tournaments partnering Ken Fletcher, who is not actually greatly celebrated as either a singles or men's doubles player.
But, in life, I guess it's the combination and compatability that often counts most.

Im 17 years old do I have a change to go professional?

Nadal and Jankovic.they would kick butt

Is Andrew Murry a future World No.1?

Roger Federer and Steffi Graf. Federer is a versatile player allowing him to play both the baseline and net more than adequately. He has an underrated serve which he can control the pace, placement, and spin of. In addition, he has the mental toughness to stay within matches. Steffi Graf moves well and has a good return of serve especially off the forehand side. Furthermore, she has a weapon in her serve. While she did not volley on a consistent occassion, her technique and anticipation is more than adequate.

Tennis anyone?

I'ld choose Roger Federer & Justine Henin(also called as the Female Federer).Iam a fanatic fan of both of them!
I simply adore their shots..My My..they r so Similar.!If u actually notice their Backhand style(One Handed), their volley,BackHand slice,Forehand,etc...u'ld surely wish&hope they play mixed doubles as a team coz they both r soo similar in their shots!
Kudos to roger&Juju!:)
