Should I buy a new tennis racquet?
I have a Head Ti radical that is about 5 years old, I only had it restrung twice when i was playing quite a bit, I quit playing for about 3-4 years because of tennis elbow. I am getting back in to the sport but i am wondering if it would be fine to just get it restrung or if the graphite has gone bad on it.

Footfaulting on a tennis serve?
i think the pertaining question would be to address your tennis elbow first...there are more "tennis elbow"-friendly rackets in the market today then there were 5 years agomy sincere advice would be for you to scout out these new rackets so that your injury doesnt plague you again...
the Ti radical you have is a great racket... but not in helping your elbow...
I think you should buy a new racquet. Don't buy a very expensive one though. Get a hammer.
What is the best tennis racquet?
There shouldn't be anything wrong with the racket. Ones made from modern materials like graphite last "forever" practically, unless they've been abuse. How do world class tennis pros practice? Wouldn't they need a partner nearly as good as they are?
well graphite doesnt really age much so in my opinion u would be perfectly fine restringing and using the same racquet.. especially if ur good with it... but new racquets are fun to try out and find the best fit for ur style and level of playWho is top British tennis player and where does he come from?
The graphite wouldn't change but I think you should get it restrung for safe measure. Once you get the feel of the game, get a new racquet that suits you.that is a great and hard racquet to find, so if you like playing with it, then there is no reason to buy another
What does "top spin" in tennis mean?
you should because when your tennis racquet gets old your strings will break or your racquet will crack. you should buy a really strong racquet to play hard like the pros. also you should buy really good strings to hit the ball hard to win games.the best racquet to use is a 26" racquet.i dnt think u should get a new one, because the one u have now is broken in,and ur used to it. its also good to play with a racquet that u know and have had for a long time. that way, most of the time u know where and when to hit the ball because you've done it so many times before with ur racquet! i'd keep it if i were u. dnt let it go, its lucky. good luck with this! :)
