The whole question is on the details section! Please answer seriously! Thanks!?
My sister was going to play mixed double and the on the other team one of the partners defaulted. So then 2 hours before the match the guy found another doubles partner. I think that it should of been a default because the actual partners defaulted so he shouldn't of looked for a partner 2 hours before the match because on the draw they had someone else. What should of the directors done? They were actually going to let the partners play but i didn't think it was right? Please answer! Thanks!

It depends on whether or not the team actually forfeited the match, if they did then getting a new partner should not be allowed, but if they discussed it with the directors and with their opponents that they had a replacement they should be able to play. Okay, you say one of the partners defaulted. In this you mean one just up and dropped out. Well the gentleman who looked for a partner was well within reason as long as it's not a substitution during the match unless permitted by regulations, if the officials do not have marked lists of players prior to the match and deadlines as to the names of the players with deadlines and time limits prior to the match.More Questions & Answers...
