Their are 4 Grand Slams each year. These are the: Australian Open(January) - played on hard courtsFrench Open(May) - played on clay clourts
Wimbledon(July) - played on grass courts
US Open(August) - played on hard courts
These 4 tournaments offer $1 million to the singles winners
There are 9 tournaments which only highly ranked players can join. These are called Master Series Events. These 9 tournaments offer about $300, 000 to the singles winners
There are regular ATP tournaments which offer about $100,000 to the singles winners
There are smaller tournaments called futures and challengers which offer about $5 000 - $30 000 to the singles winners

Can anyone beat Roger Federer?
Grand Slams are the biggest torunaments of them all. There's 4. The Australian Open, The French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.
This of course are the hardest to get into as the competition is tougher and of course the money prize and the amount of points that can be obtained are bigger.
As to the complete list of Tournaments, well there's just too many. There's big ones, medium ones and small ones. Players can try to join them my signing up. The lower ranked players may have to play preliminaries to enter the tourney and the seeded or top ranked players get in without problems. And of course the top ranked players don't signup for smaller tournaments since there's no real benefit to them coz they can get more points, more money and more exposure in bigger tourneys, plus why risk yourself with an injury in a small tournament. Good players do sometimes try to join one of these smaller tournaments after an injury to get back into shape.
Check http://www.atptennis.com/3/en/tournament... for a more info on some tournaments. There's more by the way, but of lesser value and less global. Keep in ming that not all of these tournaments are for women.
