Tennis question? Ok when you play tennis and you have to hit the ball back from the left side with two hands,which hand should be on the top and which on the bottom of the handle?

it depends if you're left handed or right handed. if you're right handed, you should have your right hand on the bottom. and if your'e left-handed you should have your left hand on the bottom. keep your hands near the bottom of the racquet so you can have more power. btw, when you hit the ball on your left side, its called a backhandWhy in Lawn Tennis points are counted as 15,30,40?

If you're talking about a backhand, have your preferred hand at the bottom. Your other hand can be anywhere on the handle. I prefer to have it on the triangular bit just under the racquet head. It kind of makes sense to put your preferred hand at the bottom as that's where you have it to serve, forehand and volley. It would be sooo awkward if you had to move it up. ;)left on top and right on bottom

your right had should be on the bottem...and left hand on top! but that is just if you are right handed! because, if you are left handed... then you just use your left hand.(this is just for a hit... on the left side.)

Usually it depends on which hand the person uses to play. I'm right-handed, so I have it on the bottom whenever I hit a backhand. Your dominant hand is supposed to at the bottom of the handle anyway because that gives you more control of your racket. It just makes it easier leaving it there and putting your other hand above it when returning a backhand.More Questions & Answers...
