Whats up with federer?
well maybe this is a stupid question, because you cant expect a guy to keep winning for years and years. but im a big fan of federer, and to see him lose in 3 consecutive tournaments is very strange. im very hopeful he is still going to break records and ultimately work his way into being one of the best in history. I just hope he doesnt end up being one of those guys who had their run for 2-3 years and eventually fade out. (Lleyton Hewitt). remember when he used to be dominate? well anyways, I hope he will turn around his year at the french and break through on clay.

In tennis what is an ace i.e a service ace??
Well, I would say I'd had the same question, but common sense helps you see what happens.(I don't mean you don't have c.s.) In America, he lost the first time because he underestimated his opponent, in the second time, you could see he went up well in the second set, but lowered the guard in the third, again because he underestimated his opponent. Canas, who had nothing to loose played fiercely and risky, and that made the final difference. Had he had the chance to go to five sets instead, result would have been different. Canas showed that he is a high caliber player and that to beat him you had to hit him to the end, as Djokovic did. And in clay at Monte Carlo, we cannot forget that Nadal is number 2 for some reason. The fact that he is left handed, plus a good player make him difficult to beat. Federer cannot force too much in his serve (Nadal's) because then is tired on his own. He has to use more strategy than tactic. I think we're going to see a good Federer for long yet, but we must remember that it is too much pressure when you are in number one for so long. You underestimate a lot of your opponents, but each and everyone comes to kill you even if they loose in the next round. Do you agree?Who Will Win The Australian Open 2007 Men Semi and Women Final.?
Just tournaments that really doesnt matter, its grand slam that matters. ANd i think the way federer played in the Australian open no1 can beat him in a grand slam for a while. And i think with his improvement in clay i really think he has a good chance of making a run at nadal at french open this year. But remember even sampras had those down moments but it didnt last long.Do you like this tennis dress?
nothing wrong, the argentinian team is better, at least at this time as shown in the screenWhat woman won the 2000 australian open?
Nothing wrong really, except the huge pressure for him to win all tournaments and the doubt caused by his twin consecutive losses to Canas. But reaching the final at Monte Carlo is a very good sign, considering that it's not his fave surface. I think that he got an ego boost from that and it will take a little more mental toughness to beat Nadal on clay. This makes for another interesting clay season. Nevertheless, I think Roger is ready to claim the French Open trophy. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with Federer. Of course many can't accept that's he is losing. But to think that he is an immortal in tennis isn't fair to him. Great players do lose, but they also get up stronger. He is a great player overall, on other surfaces and second on clay. He keeps his strengths and energy for the grand slams particularly. On clay we have to accept that Nadal is superior, growing up on it. But for Federer it is already amazing, finals in clay tournaments is not too far. In sports there is always the question of peaking too early (maybe Hewitt) but that is not with Federer. He is always injury free and as long as he does that, I don't see him losing out or running out of steam. Although I am a Nadal fan Roger has been exceptional and I wish the best for him.
How do you get back to shape for tennis in a few days before tryout days?
Every player has an opponent who seems to be hard to beat. Federer just may have found him in Nadal expecially in clay. Sometimes its not your day, eventually Fderer will play the game he needs to beat Nadal. Have faith. What goes on in a tennis try-out?
Well, we can't expect him to win in all the matches. It's just a minor setback. I think he would be back with a better performance at French. The Tennis King will soon retain his title!Does anyone know if there is a tennis academy in Malaysia?
Dont u think its about time! he is only human, it is" WE" ------the fans who put so much presure on this players, what if he losses, so what? the other players are in proving to be at Federer's level,so u dont expect them not to do something.so lets not make a big deal out of this, its makes men's tennis good to see and its not rigth that just one player should dominate tennis.Federer lossing is normal!!Tennis racket for a beginning 14yo?
Federer has been focusing his attention and efforts on improving his clay court play. In the midst of that preparation were 2 minor hard court tournaments. Can't blame the guy for getting knocked out early when he's working at a completely different surface. I think it served him well. He made it to the finals at Monte Carlo, so even if he didn't win, he's holding his own against clay court specialist. I am looking forward to the French Open. I don't think he's ready to take a championship on clay just yet, especially if he meets Nadal there, but I think it's going to be very close.Who serves next following the completion of a tie breaker?
Nadal is just better than Federer, plain and simple. The kid is 20 years-old and ranked the WORLD #2. Federer is #1 and has lost to Nadal 6-1. If you can beat the world #1, then technically you should be the #1 ranked, right? Look, I know that he is young, but he is kicking federers ***, give him 2 years and he will be the new #1.Which Head Flexpoint Racquet do you prefer?
me 2 im abig fan of federer and iknow he will be backHow are tennis draws determined and why aren't the 32 seeds evenly spaced out over the brackets?
He certainly didn't have anything 'up with him' in Monte Carlo. He played the best he could on clay (6-4 6-0 against David Ferrer isn't some score that many achieve), but Rafael continues to play a notch higher than the others on clay, much like Roger himself on grass. The day is sure to come when both of these players will be beaten on clay and grass respectively, but only someone very very lucky can do it.How do you clean your tennis grip?

well the matches against canas were close , a tiebreak can go either way.though it was pretty surprising to see federer defeated twice in a row by the world no.60. on clay we all know that nadal is the king.i did have a few doubts about nadal winning this time but luckily he won in straight sets.we cant expect federer to always win though the way he is going he forces us to have such expectations.he is definitely going to the finals of the french but i suppose and hope that nadal wins it.fact is federer is very fit, always injury free and has the power to improve his game when the situation demands it(like the slams or when he is in a dangerous position).the losses to canas are freak cases(or the magic of canas' drugs) but the loss to nadal is no shock as such. What does ATP and WTA stands for?
