I'm not sure what your queston is, but let me try these:When is "Roland Garros" this year -- R/G is the site of the French Open, the only clay court major championship, to be played from 5-28 to 6/11 this year.
Who/what was Roland Garros --why the name? Apparently, he was a French aviation pioneer who was the first to fly over the Mediterranean.
Who will win the French Open this year? Will Nadal be in shape to defend? Will Federer take the major that has eluded him during his 3-year stretch of dominance? Other candidates? Something tells me that Federer will not win this year (he'll end up winning a couple in his career) and it won't be Nadal either. Having said that, I hope they will be seeded in different halves and play one another for the title.
The women? Can Mauresmo deal w/ the pressure, having finally won a major? Who's going to be healthy? Not a prediction, but I'd love to see Hingis cement her comeback with a title here.
