Does the world of sports, announcers, writers and the general public alike, truly understand tennis!?
Question:All day long I have been hearing on ESPN, the comparisons between Roger Federers' dominance of his sport and Tiger Woods in his sport. And I was actually surprised that most, by a slim margin voted for Federer in a poll taken today! But what puzzles me is the asking of the question at all!! Roger Federer has been the most dominant athlete in all of sports for over two years, in a sport that is far, far more difficult than golf, and it seems that the experts are just starting to give him his props! Why is it that not just one of the best athletes of our time, but one of the greatest athletes of all time, is only now starting to get any real notice?
I'd like to know what you think!

Roger Federer's career will end someday, who will take his spot at number 1?
As a former varsity tennis player and soccer player, I can tell you both are very difficult sports in their own way.. I dont know much about golf. But I know Federer has been the most dominant tennis player since Borg. Hes only 25 and has a good 3-4 years of his prime left. That could be 9-12 more majors.. Assuming he goes at this rate, theres no one that can challenge him and when someone does he loses to the challenger a couple of times and finds a way to beat him. Unbelievable. The US media is JUST starting to realize this.. the international media(eurosport, bbc, world sport) has been noting this since 2004. The reason he was given profs earlier is hes not American. if he was american, America would have fallen in love with the guy long ago.More Questions & Answers...
