Who is the most beautiful female tennis player ever??
Sponsors want to endorse very publicised players, but the very first thing they would like to write under the player's name is "Champion" and a grand slam champion is simply a sponsor's dream.Another type of player a sponsor would like - a promising player, the one player that was marked as a future champion.
The final type of player - a beautiful player, always a good thing.
Examples for highly endorsed players:
Maria Sharapova - not only gorgeous but a true champion - won two grand slam titles, and personifies the wet dream of any sponsor.
Sponsors: Nike, Tag Heuer, Prince, Land Rover, Colgate, MACY'S, Pepsi, Samantha Tavahsa, IMG and MOTOrola
Nicole Vaidisova - a promising player.
Sponsores: Reebok, Yonex, IMG and GAP
Justine Henin Hardenne - A grand slam champion,
Sponsors: Adidas, Wilson, Rolex, Continantal Airlines and Randstand.
To be sponsored, you must be very well-known and also very famous with the fans. The point of a company sponsoring someone is to make more money. They want the person that will raise their sales the most. People like Andy Roddick, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, and Venus-Serena. These players will advertise for the company and wear their clothes, and therefore the fans will want to buy the brand.
Can you play Ping pong with tennis racket or the other way around?
im a junior in the us and currently i am sponsored by fischer 4 rackets & a euro company called pacific 4 clothes.. during summer i was sponsored by wilson but then wilson stopped giving as much 2 their sponsored players after they got a new rep so i switched.. newayz the best way to get sponsored is 2 play high profile tourneys(easter bowl, kalamazoo, orange bowl, eddie herr) & get far in them & even that may not b enouph.. ive been talking 2 adidas for a few months about sponsorships & even tho ive beaten a few of their sponsored players & am top 5 in the us in the 14's, they r still hesitent.. clothes is at least top 5 in your country + marketability, but getting sponsered by rackets is much easier(top 25 in the us)Are there plans for centre court at Wimbledon to be totally covered over ?
The first ingredient to getting sponsored is a talented athlete that is dedicated to his or her sport. And they must be a winner!Having an outgoing personality will help. Any company wants to know and feel as though who ever is wearing their clothes or swinging their rackets is representing them well.
At the junior or high school level, a player will need to associate themselves with their local pro-shop. This is important because they can both sponsor the player directly and they will also have direct contact information to the sales reps who can get the ball rolling on any kind of minor or major sponsorship. Most companies require some kind of affiliation with a local sports store that carries their products(makes sense)!
Look the bottom line here is your ranking in your respected level of tennis. All of the major companies have divisions that search the rankings and stories of interest to see where sponsoring an individual is in their best interest. If you are really good and the stats show it...the companies will find you, as well as the sports agent who just love to manage your dealings!
But if you are small potatoes right now the place to start is at your local tennis shop or sports store!
Good Luck
