Andy Murray has had a great couple of years. I don't know what your measurement criteria is, but you would be hard pressed to find a player that has consistently rose through the rankings like Andy Murray has these last couple of years. He is young, has good variety in his game, plays smart tennis by mixing up his pace and shot selection really well. He is also polite and carries himself well, whats not to like.He is a good player but he as an attitude problem. I remember last year at Wimbleton when he was losing he nerly lashed out at one of the ball boys. Also he is a bit full of himself but i think he will be more succesful than Tim Henmen.

You never really hear of him. When Wimbledon comes they will be up on him just Tim Henman, but after Wimbledon, don't expect to hear of him very much. The only reason we hear about him during Wimbledon is because he is only one of two chances for men's tennis in the UK, the other being Tim who is getting old.He could be. Certainly winning his first tournament with wins over Roddick (SF), and Hewitt (F) is a promising sign, but only time will tell. Too much pressure from the British media won't help, though.

He should be The Rising Star of the future as there is no doubt he does have talent, and sheer ability..Like other posts, i am concerned about the UK press putting too much pressure on him too early which is bound to have an impact.
