Who won the US Open 2006 women's singles champion?

There alot of things you can do to make varsity. One of the first things would be to improve your fitness. I would focus on arms, shoulders, legs, and abs. From there, you defitnately want to take lessons. However, if you don't wanna take lessons, I suggest you figure out your playing style. Do you like to serve and volley? Stick to the baseline? Be consistent and let the opponent make the mistake? Once you identify it, you should work on it. Hope this helps and good luck!

What are the best kind of strings for Wilson nCode Tour 90 Racquet?

Take some tennis lessons over the summer. They are like $100 for the month, but will help tremendously. And just get out there and practice. Hitting with someone that is better than you will help lots too.

And you might wanna work on the footwork. Its tedious and draining, but in the end, it will help a lot. And build up the endurance. The typical match will last from an hour to two hours. You might wanna be ready for it. Haha.

What is the best way to improve footwork at the court? What drills are needed?

just play play and play some more

I don't work out

and the fitness will come by just playing

i've played for 3 years now

I'm on varsity and I'm only in 8th grade and I play 2 single

the team is ranked 4th in state too

soo man just practice practice practice and try to hook up with a couple of people who can help you at the closest tennis club.

What is tie brake in term of tennis?

Practicing your service game definitely helps. Learn to be consistent if not the most powerful. The key to beating your opponent is to remember it is just one point. Don't always go for the winner, just make sure to get the ball back to the opposition side. Try playing friendly matches with some of the existing varsity players. You will definitely see how to handle things. Running lines on the court definitely helps as well. AND use ball machines. They are damn awesome. And remember to play agressive. Scare them before they scare you.
