Tennis self-assessment skill levels 1 thru 7?
There is a self-assessment system which lets tennis players determine their skill level from 1 thru 7, where 1 is beginner and 7 is world champion. I saw this in a poster somewhere. What is it called and where can I find it on the web? Thanks!

What's the Tennis event today (20th May) ?
It is called the National Tennis Rating Program or NTRP. It is part of the United States Tennis Associations rating system and they have a detailed description of each skill level so you can self rate yourself. Many tennis clubs will have a NTRP rating clinic about this time of year before the USTA adult leagues start up. That is where a certified NTRP rater comes in watches you and other play and gives you a rating between 1 and 7. Anyway, go to www.usta.com to find out more about it or google NTRP.the most acurate way to (and really the only way) assess your skill level in tennis is to rally with a tennis club pro or instructor and have them rate you.
A really good tennis player is around a 4. Pete Sampras would be a 7.
Who is the best tennis player in the world?
this is otherwise known as the NTRP rating system. the poster evaluates ur forehand s backhand and all the other storkes in the game. u can ask ur coach if there is a poster u can look at but i have not seen 1 online yet .but most tournament and private indoor tennis courts have have 1 just ask the person who is in charge. good luck. also some sites suchas tenniswarehouse rates what NTRP rating a racket is intended to be made forgo to www.tenniswarehouse.com they have grate rackets to choose from and tells u what type of player the racket is siuted for! good luck
