Why isn't Roger Federer's name in the new Yahoo rankings?

Don't worry...Federer's rank is still #1 in tennis. He'll still be if he doesn't pick up his racquet till march or something like that.
What you see in yahoo.com is the ATP points race for 2007, which, unlike the ATP ranking points, starts fresh every year. So far, the only tournament that Federer has played is the Kooyong exhibition, which has no point rewards. The other players you see in the list have actually played tournaments in India, Sydney, Auckland, etc. and have won or reached deep into those tournaments and so have accumulated atp points for 2007 already.
Naturally, his name is not there as he is yet to gather enough points for 2007 tally.though it's not hard to guess that he's gonna top that list too pretty soon. Check out the official world ranking in atptennis.com, Federer's still #1 (by a HUUUUGE margin)

It's a new season of tennis, they start over the points. It goes by the number of tournaments played and significance of the tournament, so if he wins the Australian Open, he will surely shoot up to number one.What does tennis do for your body?
