Pro Tennis player?
Do you need to go to college in order to become a pro tennis player?
Answers:
Is anyone a tennis instructor?
I'd say no. Mc Enroe did, but that was a while back. Today, I don't think you have much chance if you stay away from the tour and pro-events until you are 22 or so. For some it might work, but it's definitely not a must do.The thing here is that tennis is played with international competition, unlike the NBA or the NFL...
Other countries don't have college sports, thus most kids in other countries already play professional tennis after highschool.
Why is Wimbledon considered as the greatest of all the Grand Slams?
Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, many tennis players never go to college, at least not while they're on tour...it's just not widely reported. Tennis is a sport that really requires no time off...stop playing for a week and rust appears out of nowhere. If you've got aspirations of going pro, the tennis court is your college and the professors are your coach and trainer. Good luck with that!More Questions & Answers...
