Where can I find a private tennis coach for my daughter? We live in Central Tx(Waco area)?

My daughter is on the high school tennis team but wants to improve her game. We are looking for a private coach for her. I have no idea how to even begin a search for private instruction.

If you go to the USTA website there is a place you can put in your zip code to find tennis courts near you. Like the other person said country clubs are a good place to find a pro or other people that might suggest one for your daughter.

Sometimes people giving lessons at public courts are pretty good too. You could ask someone there as well.

I know its pretty obvious, but have you talked to other players on the high school team and asked them who is coaching them?

Another good place is colleges. Many college players would be willing to teach people and are very good. There would probably also be college coaches there that might work with your daughter.
