How do you choose a tennis racket?

Disqualification help plzzzzzzzzzzzz!!?

Depends on a few things:

If you're a newbie, start off with something more on the cheap side. If you like and really get into the game, then you can always buy a better racquet later.

If you lack power, buy a widebody racquet. (thicker around the Y and the head).

If you can generate enough power, then go for a slimmer racquet. (helps with control).

For newbs and intermediates, I would suggest an oversized head. (typically 110sq in. and a bit larger than your standard head...head being the round part where the strings go)

Any of the brands will work for a starter racquet. Can't go wrong with Wilson or Prince.

It's vastly different if you're advanced, but if you were, you probably wouldn't need to ask how to choose a racquet, so I'm assuming you're a newb. :)

When Can I watch Wimbledon on my TV?? NBC and ESPN, and USA? but when???

you can demo rackets on www.tenniswarehouse.com

there are so many different brands and variations to each racket..you just got to see for yourself what you like and don't like. Buy a lower priced racket and test it out if you like it.
