How do you do a top spin in tennis?
Answers:
1. bend your knees
2. rotate torsoe backwards
3. rotate torsoe forwards whilst driving up through legs, creating a high to low swing motion
4. make sure your racquet head is facing forwards when you make contact, not up or down.
5. follow through, make sure you swing through fully, maybe even up over your shoulder.
NB maybe you are having a problem because your grip doesn't allow much top spin, the more you rotate your grip around from continental to western, the easier it is to create topsin.
Now that Serena is back, will Maria ever win another big tournament?
sorry im not really in 2 playin tennis i only tried 1 timeWhat grip do most pro tennis players use?
You get really under the ball. Then you follow through about half way, it will be level w/ your stomach. Swing fast. Wa-La, topspin. You really only need this shot when you're up past the service line. That means you shouldn't take a big back swing.Im a hs tennis player, and the way to get top spin is brush over the ball kind of like your peeling an orange. At first u will prlly hit the ball low, but with top spin u can apply a lot more power to the ball.Dont be discouraged if u cant get it right away.
