So when im serving, the first bounce has to be behind the service line?

Let me summarize the serve for you real quick. When you serve, you must be outside of the court. Your foot cannot cross the plane of the back line unless the ball has struck your raquet. For the serve to be good, you must serve into the same court a your opponent. For example, if you were on the Duce court, the right side, you would need to serve into your opponent's duce your, or their right side. This means that your are serving to the opposite box that you are in on the other side of the court. The ball must clear the net and land within the service box.
