Tennis in Long Island New York.?
Question:Hi
I am currently living in New Hyde Park, NY 11040
That is located in long island in Nassua County.
I was hoping that someone could tell me where i could take tennis classes for pretty good prices. My family cannot afford too much so i dont think i can get a private coach. Can anyone tell me where i can get a good private coach or good lessons for cheap.

Try the Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach. Most clubs in the Hamptons are very high in price however the Pro at the WCC charges around $60-75 for a private lesson. His assistants are even cheaper. That is much less than the $100+ / hr of most clubs around there. Also there are group lesson rates that could aslo be cost effective yet still valuable.Would any sandy ground be good to practice playing on clay if there aren't many clay courts around?
