What kind of tennis racket should I buy?
I"m a novice who's looking to play more often. I went to the sporting good store, and a guy told me about 3 rackets: Prince, with o3 technology, head with liquid metal, and wilson with their new technology. I'm looking for one with a large sweet spot that will still give me power for around $100 or less. I'm a guy who has played occasionally for several years. Thanks.

Are women tennis pros overpaid?
The Prince 03 and the Wilson nCode lines are a bit pricey. Unless you know you are going to take tennis extremely seriously, I would not invest in them. Besides, they are not that good for the price. Head's Liquidmetal line is affordable, and has good performance. It could certainly be a possibility. Only problem is that they are relatively heavy (if I recall correctly, around 10 ounces and more), have dense string patters, and have little power. This requires more arm strength, and a bigger and faster swing. Now I'm not sure what level novice you are, since you say you've played a little bit for some years, but unless you feel that you have enough strength to play with the LIquidmetals, I would suggest you get a lighter, more powerful racket. Head's Intelligence line is more for beginners, especially the iS12 and iS10. Try to look for a racket under 10 ounces, with a head size of 105 in+, stiffness 70+, and head heavy. That's the typical beginner racket.Information on Anna Kournikova?

Okay, I looked at rackets for a while before I bought mine (Volkl Tour 6 Gen II [great racket]) But I'm gonna recomend you try a Yonex Ultimum RQ Speed 8, at tennis warehouse they are $100. so after stringing and shipping it will be about $130. The Yonex was my second choice, but I went with the Volkl because I like to volley (and play doubles), but out of the you listed it sounds like you are gonna play a lot of groundstrokes.String Tension and Shot making?
To improve your tennis game the most, do the follwing:1. Take your $100 and buy a $25 evenly balanced no-name tennis racquet that feels good. Although it may not last as long as a $100 racquet, it will still play quite well.
2. Take the remaining $75 and buy yourself a PRIVATE tennis lesson from a well-reputed Tennis Instructor.
3. Repeat step 2 as often as necessary.
I just started playing again after many many years.
I got the Head iS6, it's very light and head size is 110.
A lot of people(beg to advanced) at my club have this racquet . It looks nice and feels nice too.
I looked on head's website and it's their most popular selling racquet of all time.
About 79.99$ , not too bad of a price.
