The dialouge is mixed, and since its a poweraide commericial I think its fake, but it seems possible, given the size of the dents that serves routinley leave in clay courts.

It's fake. Check out the link below to see a cross-section of the clay courts at the French Open. The actual "clay" on the clay courts is a layer of crushed brick only a couple of millimeters deep. And so, for Andy Roddick's serve to have pentrated like that, it would've had to have done so into the layer of limestone.
