Sure, that's a side effect of putting lots of spin on the ball. Nadal, for instance, is just starting to get good at "flattening out" his forehand. It's something that the big top spinners have to learn to do to be successful on faster surfaces. Some players will change their grip when they want to flatten it out, but most will just drive through the ball more, less low-to-high on the swing. Only if you generally don't use a Western grip, and even then it might not be all that difficult. I usually use a Continental grip, but will on occasion switch to a Western grip for a lot of topspin on my forehand (don't try it if you want to hit the winner with underspin).More Questions & Answers...
