Could Nadal end up being one of the best tennis players ever?

At his young age, and with all he's accomplished so far, it seems like it would not be too far-fetched to suggest that Rafael Nadal could become one of the greatest professional tennis players to ever play the game. Guillermo Vilas was great for example, especially on clay, but Nadal looks like he is ready to surpass even his accomplishments. He also basically owns Federer, admittedly one of the greats of pro tennis.

Is it true that Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova were toghether and they broke up yesterday or so? love Andy:D

you could already make the claim on one aspect of his game. He owns the record for the most consecutive wins on clay, so you could make the claim that he is one of the best tennis players ever on clay. So in actuality, he has already claimed the title of the best tennis player ever on clay. If you were to ask if he currently is one of the best tennis players ever on all surfaces, then he is not. He is getting incredibly better on hard courts though as he has shown with his win at Indian Wells and his adjustment to hard court. He has improved vastly compared to a year ago on hard court, just look how he does in tournaments, last year he was getting knocked out in the first two rounds, so his potential is incredibly high as he gets stronger every year, plus he's only 19/20!

WHO else thinks ANDY MURRAY is the answer to the stalemate in British tennis? I think he is awesome myself!?

Its possible.

Service line?

Yes, I think he can. However, he will need to find even more game then he has now. He needs to get more consistent on hard court. He is great and can be even better when he gets more tools in his repertoire than power and running down balls. I hope it happens because I am a huge fan of his and love his grit and desire to win.

Can you find a picture of Joachim Johansson's girlfriend?

Hey give him more time, hell get there. He's been #2 for the past 2 years? But points wise he has a long way to go to catch up to Federer.

One thing's for sure he's the dominant force on clay, i don't think there'll be anyone to beat him on clay just yet.

But he has to work on his game on the other surfaces.

Can Nadal dominate Federer on grass courts of Wimbledon as well?

He could be but there is no assurance. He still has to reach # 1 and it will take a while. By then, others could catch up with him since there are a lot of young players who are already within the top 20 and could grab #1 before Nadal. We'll have to watch his consistency and longevity in the sport.

Why do people think Rafa Nadal is better than Roger Federer when clearly The Fed is the best ever?

He would first need to further develop his game on other surfaces before he could even be considered a threat to Federer.

In Tennis - What percent of your first serves go in?

its possible
but......i don't want him to be so

Roger Federer has been with Mirka for over 6 six years now. When are they getting married?

yes, of course he can, he has accomplished so many things at young age that not most great players did, he's still 20, he still can do so many things, especially after Federer goes down. I expect a lot from him.

Improve my Volleys (Tennis)?

YES

Andy Roddick won!?

yes,it's very possible.......

What was the fastest tennis serve ever?

He's very good, a gritty player, and so freakin competitive. I love his attitude, enthusiasm, and how mentally tough he is.

Have you EVER seen Rafa get down on himself? Heck no. He forgets the last point and gets ready for the next, always.

I think the full western grip and loopy shots make it very difficult for clay courters to dominate outside of clay.

Roger Federer probably has the best player ever title wrapped up at this point.

Pound the fuzz?

Yes, why think he is not, he can because he plays well.

Which of the following young female tennis players do you think will cause the biggest upsets this year?

Yes I think it's possible. Frankly with 2 majors (both of them the French Open) and 19 tournament victories already at age 20 he could already be argued as a tennis Hall of Famer.

The improvement Nadal has had in the last year or so speaks loudly of his great work ethic. His serve was relatively slow about a year ago with speed readings of just over 100 mph but it is now often around 120 mph. He also places his serve well.

I was amazed how Nadal was able to reach the finals of Wimbledon and took a set from Federer in a very tough match on grass. At his young age it's very possible he may surpass Federer at number one some day.
