First, I'd suggest any club that has group classes. Not only is this cheaper than private lessons, but you can learn from others and also develop some practice partners.
If you are near the Lloyd Center, I'd suggest the Portland Tennis Center, next to Benson High. Otherwise, any of the numerous tennis clubs in town should have classes available. Just call one near you and ask about their schedule and prices.
