LEGS - - - Do they contribute to making topspin?

Answers:

How fast is your serve?

This question actually has two answers based on your point of view. 1. Legs do contribute to making topspin by allowing me to get in optimal hitting position. This means I am the right distance from the ball and can generate more leverage and spin on the stroke. Just getting down to the ball makes it easier to create topspin. 2. Do the legs actually help me create more racket head speed through the stroke resulting in more revolutions, not really...maybe indirectly. There is no direct evidence that a player with stronger legs can generate more topspin than someone with an average build. So essentially my answer comes down to a matter of perspective.

What is Sania Mirza? A tennis prodegy or just a media hype product?

On topspin serve yes. I don't know the reason for it but they do. On ground stokes, I find that they don't. People that are good will keep a strong base. People who are really good can (on a good shot) jump into there forehand. That really only gives it more power and is really risky.

Tennis fans!?

the person below doesn't know what their talking about...

...okay yes they do on a serve (definitly)

...and they most definitly do when it comes t your groundstrokes because if you do not have strong legs, you cannot get low during your backhand or forehand, and if you cannot get low you cannot get your racket below the ball properley and therefor cannot generate proper topsin

the legs mean everything
