Bjorn Borg was one of the coolest customers ever to grace a tennis court. Nothing rattled this guy, he seemed to always be in control and very rarely played a loose point. Borg also had a standing heart rate which was extremely low which demonstrated how he was in such great shape. Borg also had a backhand with which he would take the pace you provided and rifle an even better shot back. He had unbelievable control off both wings and you had to play great tennis to beat him. There was just no mental lapse with this guy, and that is why McEnroe would not act out of line when playing against Borg. Borg might be the only tennis player that McEnroe truly respected out there on court. Borg just had that intangible where he knew how to orchestrate a point to gain an advantage that would lead to a win.
