Why in tennis is it love, 15, 30, 40, deuce and not 1, 2, 3 etc etc?

For some reason it was originally based the the hands of a clock, I am unsure as to where deuce comes from but the 15, 30 and 40 are from the relevent minutes on the clock.wiki pedia says:
