There are a couple of ways, but there are just some key don'ts as well.I'll go with what you shouldn't do first:
Don't lock your fingers together (like you're praying), you can't get them apart fast enough for quick plays and if the balls comes at you funny
Don't just put your hands together (like you're clapping), balls can come at you fast enough to shift your arm positions and thus throw off your platform
What I do:
Make a hand shape like you're going to flip a coin, just keep your thumb on top of your index finger. "Grab" your right hand with your left hand so that your thumbs are right next to each other.
Way 2:
Stick your left hand out palm up like someone's giving you change. Put your right hand on top of your left hand palm up. Bring your thumbs together.
