Well. There's a lot of running, whether it's during a two lap run around the gym or just within the court. You're always on your feet following the ball, attempting to hit it. When you're serving, there's a lot of arm strenght required to hit the ball the in a certain direction, if you want it to be straight or kinda high, spin or no spin. Then there's spiking which requires jumping..well. You should anywho but many don't. A lot of girls I've seen..myself included, arch their backs when they spike and that works on your abs. Jumping makes your calves stronger..your quads and your hamstrings get stronger as well. It's a huge workout from everyway.
