What should I do?
This is my problem I tried out for club ball and made first team but...I am not going to see playing time in tournaments till I can get a girl out of her spot. I am willing to work hard to earn a spot but my parents think that since I am not guaranteed playing time I should go to the second team where I would definitely have a starting position. My question is this: Should I follow my own wishes because I am willing to do whatever it takes or go to the other team and automatically have a position?
Answers:
Do what you think is best for yourself only you know how you will feel with your decision. You want to show them everything you got. You will go for the spot on the team to be on the first team right? questions: what happens if you dont make it? How long will it take you to get the spot? How many games will you miss reaching the spot? If you make it, what next? will you get to play as much? Will you gain much more by the tournaments that you would be able to play?
But for the "parental" view,
Why do you want to be on the first team? Will you have more advantages? Is it for more status? Will you play as much as on the other team? Could you maybe "shine" more on this team?
These are just some of the things you could answer yourself. Maybe by listening to yourself and your parents who only want the best for you. you can come up with a pro and con list of where you may suit your situation better.
As always when the years have passed and you look back what will you remember the most of these days. How well you played? What you did to get there? ect.
Hope this helps, and good luck to whatever you decide. I think you took an adult step just by asking others opinions.
follow what your mom says you should do.
How can i find Andile Manxaile's web address pls?
I had my last vball game tonight! we lost but anyways, it's up to you. You never know, if your good you'll get playing time, maybe not starting but let me tell you just because you start doesn't mean you get the most playing time.Well I play soccer and have the same problem. I say stick with your team a little longer if you try hard and come to all the games but you still don't get what your worth go to another team. But remember you may not be guaranteed time on the court on other teams either but its more likely.

Can any of you people give me volleyball tips.?
I had this same problem with school volleyball. In the beginning of the season I didn't play in the games. Then by the end of the season I was playing more then the girl who originally started for me. I worked really hard during the my practices. It all payed of in the end.I'm not telling you what to do. The decision is up to you. Your the one who has to decide whether or not you want to stay on the same team or fo to another one. The coaches may think you have potential and you may be playing in tournaments in no time.
GOOD LUCK!!!!
Whats the difference between volleyball and badminton?
do what you want to do, because your parents can't control everything you do. i personally think this is one of those questions that you are goin to have to make on your own because in the end its always up to you, no matter what any one else says to change your mind. What are some good volleyball cheers/chants?
I would go with the team you would play most on. This is because you become a better player when you play more in games. Not just practices.Stay on the better team. If youre on a team with people that arent as good as you, you wont get much better. If youre on a team with people who are better players than you, you will get so much better so much faster (i know from experience). If youre willing to work hard, stay on that team. Be the girl's biggest fan. Watch her and learn from her and be as good as you can be. Good luck!
