Is volleyball extremly bad for your knees??
I went through the same thing last year! the main thing is to PAY ATTENTION! i cant stress that enough! also, dont complain about having to run laps or something like that. Just show him you are a good sport, and you are dedicated. Since you have been practicing everyday, you shouldn't have any problem with the skills part, but the biggest thing that coaches are looking for is that you will learn and progress. If you don't make the team, don't feel to bad. If one of your friends comes up to you and asks you if you made it, don't make up excuses or say something like "I was feeling sick that day and wasn't doing my best." Just tell the truth. Tell them that you didn't make it and congratulations to them if they made it! And say something encouraging like "Ill come to the championship to root you guys on!" or something like that. I know that its hard, but dont be a poor sport about not making it! GOOD LUCK! and have fun!How many points are in a volleyball game?

practice your over head serve, spike, bump, underhand, and setDoes anyone know any good general volleyball cheers?
well, im 15 and ive made all the school volleyball teams. dont be scared if u dont make it, just try out again next year and then the coaches will know that you are dedicated to the game and really want to play. of course, pay attention no matter what. if a friend is talking to you, you can always tell them to not talk or walk away from them at that period of time. just dont puck up, like you said, and be a goodie goodie. always have a positive attitude too. and if your friends make it and you dont, get on with it, next year will cme quite quickly./)__/)

What is the longest you think that a summer sports practice should be allowed to last?
I'm gone through the same scene. And I made it! I just got in this year. I wasn't all that good but it was the determination that got me in. In fact, there are more better people who tried out. They really were great and should be players. The problem is that they took great advantage of themselves and didnt took the try-outs seriously. So our coach didnt chose by their skills but he chose who is really willing and who has the right attitude. Skills are of no problem because they can be learned. But you cant force to have the determination towards the sport. Can anybody tell me something more about Nikolaos Roumeliotis, greek volleybal player?
1. pay attention to the directions that the coaches give and follow them to the best of your ability. listen carefully to everything they tell you.2. constantly stay focused. dont let the other girls distract you. if people are talking and goofing off, dont participate in this. the coaches will think you're not serious about wanting to make the team.
3. don't complain. tryouts can be very difficult and tiring, but whatever you do, do what they say, and don't make comments about how much it stinks. trust me, you'll get through it.
4. push yourself to the max. if you're tired, push harder. if you're having trouble doing something in particular, keep trying and don't give up. whatever you do, don't let yourself slack off. even if you're not a perfect player, the coaches will definitely take notice of your strong effort.
5. listen to the pointers the coaches give you. they will be watching you and taking notes in their head about you. they may come over and give you some tips on how to improve your form or how to do better. listen carefully and do exactly what they said the next time. even if you think it might not help do it anyway! being a coachable player is extremely important, and they will notice if you follow their instructions. it will show that you're willing to listen and try different techniques to improve.
these tips will definitely help you. GOOD LUCK!

In reading these answers, "Confused" does not appear confused at all in regards to Volleyball as she has a good head for the game.As a high school Volleyball Coach I would advise you to stay focused on the Game and let your friends be friends Off Court. Be competitive, work on your game and do not worry about pleasing anyone, Coach included.
If your game is focused, the results will be what you seek.
