How to become volleyball team captain?

I have been playing volleyball for three years now and I am part of a rank A high school team. Anyone have any tips to what I could do to be selected as team captain this year?

You will be selected as caiptain if you have three things.
1.Talent at volleyball
2.Spirit (when your teams down your the one who has to get them back up)
3. You have to be able to read the game the best on the team.

Why do people touch the antenna?

OMG i have been playing for a few years now cause volleyball ROCKS... but when it comes to the time when ppl choose the captain, im nominated, but this other girl (cough)b***h (cough) always beats me.. oh well its not like i cry myself to sleep every night. but just work as hard as you can and it doesnt hurt to suck up to the other players, to get them on ur side.. hope it helps
