Volleyball question?
I play setter and I was wondering, when I am in back row, and we dig a hit, i run up to set, but the ball is going to go back over, am i allowed to go up and block or will that be illegal?

How many of you can lick your elbows??
It's definitely illegal. A back row player can not attack or block from the front row. It is only legal if you jump from behind the 10 ft. line which is absurd to do if you are trying to block. It's like when a setter gets called for a back row attack. You can't dump the ball if you are coming from the back row. Now if you keep your feet on the ground, that's a different story.
it is definetly not illegal
Do you think that highschools should have a boys volleyball team too??
I believe only the front row is allowed to go up and block, if you cross them that's illegal, even if you are setter. I'm pretty sure...It's not legal, unless you being the blocking approach behind the ten foot line. Like all back row players, any jump made in front of the ten foot line will be called foul and a point to the other team, assuming rally scoring is taking place.
Give me some names of pro women volleyball players?
not illeagal blocks dont count as one of your 3 hits.BTW whats the pass doing on the other side if the net?
If you do a 5-1 like you said and you run to the front, you can not tip, hit, block, or anything like that. Have the hitters block and then cover and pray for a good pass to some hitter. You can set it over or pass it over but other than that, it will be called as a backrow attack. Have fun!!
How can I get better at jumping by not using the weight room.?
nonono you can block it you just have to be careful not to cross the line when you try this.. i beleive its ok but maybe you should ask the coachWhere have all the topics gone in the volleyball forum?
this is not illegal because if you went for the block then u fell into the net that would be called legalif ur back row u cant "go up" (jump) regardless of the situation
